2009 1029 Shannon's first prenatal visit

Shannon had her first prenatal visit on October 29th, 2009. Dr. Amy used the doppler machine to hear the heartbeat. I had to miss it since I was sick at home with the flu. The baby is due May 3rd, 2010.

Josiah (New big brother) also visited the doctor for his 16-month well-child visit on the same day. He received his H1N1 vaccination along with 3 other shots.

Milestones achieved:

In July 2010, Evie is a good eater. She now likes to coo and talk, especially once her stomach is full. She is able to hold her head steady when we sit her up, and she sleeps through most nights without awakening for a snack.

In August 2010, Evie is sitting up with support. She rolls over from front-to-back and back-to-front. She even grabs things with a purpose.

In December 2010, Evie is crawling and sitting up on her own. Watch out world!

In February 2011, Evie is a big eater and eats about anything. She likes to talk to us daily, even if we don't know what she says. She is also a speed crawler and pulls herself up on everything.

In June 2011, Evie is still a great eater and walking all around, sometimes running. She started taking her first few steps in April. She has a few words such as all done, mommy, daddy, and hi. She has four teeth on top and two on the bottom.

In August 2011, Evie is a learning how to survive without her pacifier. Since our trip to Buffalo, New York to visit Sharlynn, we now took away the pacifier. Evie looks for one under her crib every morning when I get her.

In January 2012, Evie is now running everywhere and talking up a storm. She is starting to potty train and occasionally she actually goes when she is put on the potty. Favorite saying lately is, "Carry me."
